Where The Word Was Born

“The Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory… full of grace and truth.” – John 1:14 (NRSV).

Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to visit the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem. This is the traditional location of Christ’s birth. In addition to this, Saint Jerome translated the Bible into Latin here. His reasoning was that he wanted to translate the Word where the Word was born.

May you experience Christ’s grace and truth this season. Merry Christmas, everyone!
