This past Sunday I had the opportunity to share my heart and God’s word at Southport Church.
I talked about how prayer can be both powerful and effective through the lens of James 5:13-18.
In this passage, James uses Elijah as a REFERENCE for his thesis that prayer is powerful and effective. Essentially, Elijah is an example on how to pray.
The application of my message was that each of us is a reference to someone else on how to pray. I shared that we can either be a good reference on how to pray or a bad reference on how to pray.
