About a year ago, I came up with this concept of praying vertically and praying horizontally.
I have found that some may choose to keep their prayer requests just between themselves and God. This is praying vertically. While this is a good place to start, scripture, (such as James 5:13-16) tells us to bring our prayer requests to our church and community. This is praying horizontally.
It’s important that we don’t keep our prayers a ”secret” between us and God. We need to bring others into our prayer life.
