IN LOVE AND IN CRAZY

I used to not understand how couples could say things like, “I love my spouse, but they drive me crazy.” I figured that those two things were mutually exclusive. After all, doesn’t 1 Peter 4:8 says, “Love covers over a multitude of crazy,” or something?

Like I said, I USED to not understand how couples could say things like that. That is, until I got married six months ago. Now I understand completely understand. I love Claudia, but she drives me crazy. I think that she would also say the same thing about me. She loves me, but I drive her crazy.

To say that this quarantine has brought out each other’s crazy would be an understatement. During this time, we have swung back and forth between wanting to kill each other and wanting to make a little life together. (Neither of which has happened yet, but thanks for asking). However, despite this quarantine and its collateral crazy, I have learned to love her better.

CC, in love and in crazy, I choose you. Happy half-year.
