My friends and family know that I’m almost always reading a leadership book, listening to a leadership podcast, or talking about leadership with another leader. My wife, Claudia often makes fun of me for this.
One day, when she was doing laundry, she put on one of my favorite button-up shirts and walked around our house saying, “Look at me! I’m Nick. Leadership, leadership, leadership.” 😂😂😂
While my wife imitating me was funny and has become one of our ongoing jokes, it got me thinking about my leadership. Am I a leader worth imitating?
While it may sound like the cliche Christian answer, the only leader I really want to imitate is Jesus.
This led me to spending the last two years reading about, thinking about, and writing (+rewriting) about the leadership of Jesus.
